Musical Bites {Fundraiser Baker, Raleigh, NC}

Recently, I was asked to create cake bites for a fundraiser in Raleigh. I donated 200 cake bites. The details on each bite took hours to decorate! I made them red and white with little black music notes. They were deliscious and looked amazing sitting in the little paper wrappers. The event was a beer and wine tasting. My two favorite things, chocolate cake bites and wine! I was honored to coordinate with such a great foundation. Crazy Creatures {VIP Baker, Cary, NC}

I made these little guys for a VIP event at Dillard's. Chocolate cake with buttercream frosting! They were a huge hit! I guess I should've made more than 20 :). I used different kinds of sprinkles to make their hair, my favorite ones are the stars and flowers that looked like dinosaur spikes! I'm very inspired to make some dinosaur pops soon!

Tangled Pops! {Luncheon Baker, Cary, NC}

I love being able to get creative and design something on my own. Just to sit down with a cake bite and turn it into a piece of art. These elegant pops were chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. Purple and yellow were used to create a Rapunzel theme for my daughter's school fundraiser. The kids loved them! It is amazing to know that I can create something so amazing, doing what I love.

Puppy Pops {Birthday Baker, Raleigh, NC}

I was soo nervous about making these Puppy Pops but they turned out fantastic! They took me hours to complete with all the small details. The ears were especially difficult, but every second was worth it! They were the perfect accent to a very sweet little boy's first birthday :). The pops were flavored with vanilla, chocolate, and peanut butter coating! I am definatly excited to make these again!

Easter Pops {Holiday Baker, Cary, NC}

My very first  themed cake pops were chicks for Easter! Red velvet with buttercream frosting. They turned out so cute! I made waaayyyyy too many for our small get together, but somehow there were none leftover! I can't wait until next year so I can try bunnies and Easter eggs!

Simplicicy {Birthday Baker, Cary NC}

Here are a few simple pops I made for friends. It was fun when I first started out, being able to just be creative and do whatever popped into my head. The pink and white ones are still my favorite, so simple, yet so pretty! They're chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, I hadn't really branched out with new flavors yet. The brown ones are red velvet with buttercream frosting!!! That is definatly my favorite flavor!

Sports Pops {Birthday Baker, Cary NC}

I loved creating these little baseballs and basketballs for Noah's 3rd birthday party! They turned out so yummy! Chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, of course! Mama Becky had a great idea using Easter grass to help decorate the stand. The Carolina Pops were a perfect compliment too!

Little Bites of Heaven

   My mouth still waters when I think of my very first cake bites. They were chocolate cake, with chocolate frosting, and chocolate candy! They almost looked too pretty to eat. Keep in mind, I still had never tried anything like this before! I was very eager to see what all the hype was about. I took my first bite...Amazing! How had I never thought of this before?! These "little bites of heaven" are quite possibly the most deliscious dessert in the world! I immediatily packaged them up and delivered a jar to Dillard's, where my husband works, and a jar to my apartment community's leasing office. In no time, word of these tiny treats had spread and I was getting calls and emails from strangers wanting to place orders! These deliscious cake bites were only the beginning...

Introduction

   Hi Everyone! Welcome to my blog! I'm new to this, so bear with me as I learn how to do everything. I probably should've just left this up to my sister, Marie. Patience never was something I was good at.
   I guess I should start by telling you how this all got started...my Mom. Don't get me wrong, I have a huge support group of family and friends, to whom I owe more gratitude than I can ever give, but there's no doubt my Mom started it all. After years of mastering cupcakes and specialty cakes, I guess she thought I was ready to move on to...smaller treats. I opened her package, expecting presents and treats for my kids, and instead found everything I needed to make my very first batch of  'Cake Pops'. Cake pops??? How had I never had one of these before?! I guess it's safe to say that since my first batch, I haven't stopped! Within days I was taking orders for friends, and before I knew it word had passed to complete strangers! I can't believe how fast things took off!
   A few days after opening the package, I was on the phone with one of my best friends, Kristin. She asked me "what are these cake pop things you're always talking about?", I replied with the best answer I could think of, "they're little bites of heaven is what they are!!!". And there you have it, how these tiny treats went from simple cake pops to Little Bites of Heaven.
